Language changes

Meanings change, and slang changes fastest. A page can be right on the day it was checked and less right a year later. Each page shows when it was last updated so you can judge how fresh it is.

Formal writing

For contracts, academic work or anything published under your name, follow the style guide your school, publisher or employer asks for. Where style guides disagree with each other, our pages say so.
